Gluten Free: To go or not to go?
My husband has a wheat allergy, but we haven’t really modified his diet much to see what could help. There’s a lot of talk about gluten free and the store aisles have really exploded lately. I’m not one to buy into the hype, but decided to learn more!
Also, some of my Beachbody challengers are diagnosed with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis – an autoimmune disorder in which the immune system turns against the body’s own tissues. Medication are available to help control this and while helps with levels there can still be effects of the disease. Some with the disease have success by removing gluten from their everyday lives. While it does not make the disease go away, it seems to help. As a coach, it’s important to be able to give accurate and helpful information. My sponsor is hosting an informational group this May and I’m inviting you to participate!
She wants to pay it forward and teach others what she has been learning during her own experience with Hashimoto’s. On May 9th we will be offering a free 5 day gluten/ grain free challenge for my social media followers. The event will be online and each day there will be tips, meal plans, recipes, and books for going gluten free.
If you would like to join us, please fill out the application below and I will send you a link to join the group. It is going to be very informational and also very fun!
