It’s almost over! They say all good things must come to an end – and that is true also for the hammer and chisel program. I am not really looking forward to the end of the program – which is totally crazy! I have started to look ahead to decide what to do next – I may go ahead and do the 30 days of Chisel or 30 day of Hammer as a follow up. Decisions, decisions!
This was a good week for me as I was home every day and able to get my workout in in the morning. That really continues to be the best time of day for me. That way the workout is not hanging over my head all day and I actually feel energized for the day knowing I have it done. The exercises this week has some repeats, but Strength Chisel had only been in the rotation one time before. I had forgotten about it – boy was that a tough one!! It’s nice the way the workouts are staggered and scheduled to keep from getting bored. I can also tell that the way they are organized builds on the previous day and also keeps me from overworking any one area too.
I did pretty good with my meal plan this week except for a few issues on the weekend when we got snowed in. I had all the good food on hand and I did great during the day but when you came to evening I was in full snack attack mode. I still try to limit my intake but I know this week I will really need to buckle down and stick to the plan. NO pop-tarts or sneaking candy here and there! Time to finish strong!!
Here is my meal plan for this week. Mostly familiar items with a new dish here or there. You’ll see turkey taco meat here again as its a real favorite. I didn’t get a big meal prep day in this weekend because of the snow in Central PA, but I have just about everything I need to be ready for the first few days of the week!
This week I made the oat muffins with bananas and blueberries and the beef and sweet potato stew. Two items I will continue to make in the future!
