Turkey Chili – Comfort Food!
Turkey chili is one of my favorite recipes! It’s warm, can be spicy, and is easily personalized with varied topping options to satisfy different people.

This recipe is super simple!! But could still taste like you spent all day making it ๐ Set your toppings out on the side and your guests can make their own bowls.

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small green pepper
- 1 onion
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 (14.5 ounce) cans chopped diced tomatoes undrained
- 2 15 ounce cans black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 1/2 tsp cumin
- dash cayenne (optional)
Warm oil in a large nonstick skillet or deep pot.
Add chopped onion, chopped green pepper and minced garlic to the pan/pot and then add the turkey. cook until it’s no longer pink, about 5-8 minutes. Add the chili powder, cumin and cayenne.
Dump the tomatoes and drained beans in and stir. Bring to a boil.
Heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
That was easy! Top with cheese of your choice and/or a dollop of greek yogurt! Oh, and we add a couple of dashes of hot sauce too!
