After having done the 3 Day Quick Fix one or two times I decided to give the Three Day Refresh a try. It was the perfect opportunity because I had a buddy for this first time experience. When the kit arrived I read through the booklet and I also did some online research about the program. It wasn’t too complicated, especially because I have been through multiple rounds of the 21 Day Fix Extreme. The booklet comes with good (and tasty) recipes for the dinner meal, as well as the lunch meals and snacks. I was thankful that you could have Shakeology for one meal with the Three Day Refresh, whereas on 3 Day Quick Fix you don’t drink Shakeology.
I thought I would be hungry when I saw the foods I would be eating, but I wasn’t. The shake was the same as usual for me (minus the peanut butter) and the snacks were things I was already enjoying. Carrots and hummus, strawberries and green tea. The vanilla fresh was pretty good. I made sure to drink it cold after a good shakin’. The dinner meal also included vanilla fresh and a veggie heavy meal. I also had the vegetable broth with dinner on two of the nights.
I am looking forward to my next opportunity for the 3 day refresh. Maybe between Christmas and New Year’s Eve!
